COURSES

We can help not only experienced artists but also complete beginners to reach an excellent and professional standard.

Our portfolio includes a basic course in permanent make-up, as well as our own, more advanced techniques for experienced practitioners.

A thoroughly developed training system, combined with an online platform and the trainer’s continued support for students even after the course has finished, ensures that you will truly master the techniques.

You can read our students’ feedback on the courses here.

Why study with us?

  • The permanent make-up courses at the LaMajja Academy are no ordinary courses. We continue to support our students even after the course has finished, with no time limit.

  • We teach not only permanent make-up to the highest standard, but also how to build a successful business in this field. How to make a name for yourself and secure a steady client base.

  • We give our top students the opportunity to showcase their work under the LaMajja logo.

  • We have programmes tailored for both complete beginners and advanced artists, covering a range of techniques.

  • A limited number of students on each course to ensure an individual approach to each student.

HOW ARE COURSES RUN AT THE LAMAJJA ACADEMY?

Become a professional in four steps

Part 1
THEORY

In the introductory section, you’ll find ONLINE video lessons that you can study from the comfort of your own home, so that you’re fully prepared for the course in theory and we can then devote more time to practical work, which is the most important aspect of this field.

Part 2
HOME PRACTICE

In this section, you’ll be given homework assignments to help you prepare for the next part of the course. You’ll be looking at things such as measuring out the correct shape and working with tools. Thanks to direct communication with Veronika, who will review your work with you before the course begins, you’ll gain a much better understanding of the techniques and everything will be easier for you.

Part 3
WORK EXPERIENCE AT THE ACADEMY

It is now time to learn how to put your knowledge into practice using training latex and, above all, on live models at the LaMajja Academy. The number of course days depends on the type of training chosen.

Part 4
CERTIFICATION

Once you have successfully completed the previous section, you will receive a certificate. But it doesn’t end there. We know that artists gain most of their practical experience through working with clients themselves. That’s why the course is followed by ongoing support, during which we discuss your work together – and not just with your clients. We’re delighted to answer your questions and support you. Quite simply, we care about the quality of our students’ work, which is why we continue to take an interest in our students even after the course has finished.

Naši nejlepší absolventi navíc mají možnost získávat zakázky po celém světě díky umístění na LaMajja mapu provozoven. Tito umělci získají unikátní LaMajja logo, kterým se budou moci prezentovat na fotkách svých prací. Takové logo dává našim studentům prestiž a záruku kvalitní práce pro budoucí klientelu.

Depending on the conditions set by the specific Job Centre branch, the grant may be awarded not only to jobseekers, but often also to:

  • people in employment,
    self-employed people,
mothers on maternity or parental leave.

Procedure: How to apply to the Job Centre for reimbursement of course fees

1. Choosing a course and a date

Select a date for the PMU Basic retraining course below by clicking the REGISTER button and submit the enquiry form.

2. A confirmation email from us

Once you have submitted your registration, you will receive an email within a few working days containing the information you need to proceed.
This will include basic details about the course, as well as information on the availability of your chosen date.

If there is a place available on that date, we will send you the documents you will need for your appointment with the Job Centre.
You can then pass these documents on to your contact person at the Job Centre in whatever way suits you best.

3. Confirmation of application submission

Once you have submitted your application to the Job Centre, it is important to let us know.
From that point onwards, we will register you as an applicant for the course.

A binding place reservation is only confirmed once:

  • The Employment Office will approve the application,
and you will then pay the booking fee / deposit portion of the course fee.

4. Deadline for approval

The Job Centre usually takes several weeks to assess an application.
We therefore recommend that you complete your registration in good time and do not leave it until the last minute.

5. Approval of a grant from the Labour Office

Should the Labour Office approve the grant, you will be informed of this directly by the Labour Office.

You will then need to send us the documents confirming the Labour Office’s approval of the course funding.
These documents must be submitted back to the Labour Office via our communication system before the course begins.

If the documents reach us first, we will inform you immediately.

6. Course fees and the amount of the grant

The amount you are required to pay depends on the grant awarded by the Job Centre.
The grant may be approved for up to 50,000 CZK (subject to the decision of the relevant Job Centre branch).

Once your application has been approved by the Job Centre, we will send you instructions on how to pay the remaining portion of the course fee that is your responsibility.
Once payment has been made and the selected date is still available, we will confirm your binding booking of a place on the course.

The Labour Office will then reimburse the approved portion of the course fee, following successful completion, directly to us as the course provider.

7. Entry requirements

A prerequisite for the approval of a grant from the Employment Office is that the applicant has training in beauty therapy, in the form of:

  • a beauty therapy course,
  • a professional qualification,

3. CONCLUSION OF THE PURCHASE CONTRACT

3.1. The web interface of the shop contains a list of goods offered for sale by the Seller, including the prices of each offered item. The prices of the goods offered are inclusive of all charges. The offer for sale of goods and the prices of such goods shall remain valid for as long as they are displayed in the web interface of the Shop. This provision does not limit the seller's ability to conclude a purchase contract on individually agreed terms. All offers for sale of goods placed in the web interface of the shop are non-binding and the seller is not obliged to conclude a purchase contract for these goods.

3.2. The web interface of the shop also contains information about the costs associated with packaging and delivery of goods. The Seller shall not be liable for the costs associated with customs clearance.

3.3. To order goods, the buyer fills in the order form in the web interface of the shop. The order form contains in particular information about:

  • ordered goods (the ordered goods are "inserted" by the buyer into the electronic shopping cart of the web interface of the store),
  • the method of payment of the purchase price of the goods, details of the required method of delivery of the ordered goods and
  • information about the costs associated with the delivery of the goods (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Order").

3.4. Before sending the order to the Seller, the Buyer is allowed to check and change the data that the Buyer has entered into the order, including with regard to the Buyer's ability to detect and correct errors arising when entering data into the order. The Buyer sends the order to the Seller by clicking on the "send" button. The data provided in the order are considered correct by the Seller. The Seller shall confirm receipt of the order to the Buyer immediately upon receipt by e-mail to the Buyer's e-mail address specified in the user interface or in the order (hereinafter referred to as the "Buyer's e-mail address").

3.5. Depending on the nature of the order (quantity of goods, amount of the purchase price, estimated shipping costs), the Seller is always entitled to ask the Buyer for additional order confirmation (for example, in writing or by phone).

3.6. The contractual relationship between the Seller and the Buyer arises upon delivery of the acceptance of the order (acceptance), which is sent by the Seller to the Buyer by electronic mail to the Buyer's electronic mail address.

3.7. The Buyer acknowledges that the Seller is not obliged to conclude the Purchase Agreement, especially with persons who have previously materially breached the Purchase Agreement (including the Terms and Conditions).

3.8. The Buyer agrees to the use of remote means of communication in concluding the Purchase Agreement. Costs incurred by the Buyer in using remote means of communication in connection with the conclusion of the Purchase Contract (internet connection costs, telephone call costs) shall be borne by the Buyer.

4. PRICE OF GOODS AND PAYMENT TERMS

4.1. The Buyer may pay the Seller the price of the Goods and any costs associated with the delivery of the Goods under the Purchase Contract in the following ways:

  • by bank transfer
  • by credit card - the money is transferred online from the Buyer's account to the Seller's account. Seller sends the goods within 48h after receiving the payment to the bank account

4.2. Together with the purchase price, the buyer is also obliged to pay the seller the costs associated with the packaging and delivery of the goods. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the purchase price shall also include the costs associated with the delivery of the goods.

4.3. In case of payment in cash, the purchase price is payable upon receipt of the goods. In the case of non-cash payment, the purchase price is due within 1 day of the conclusion of the purchase contract. The goods will be sent only after the payment has been credited to the seller's account.

4.4. In case of non-cash payment, the buyer is obliged to pay the purchase price of the goods together with the variable symbol of the payment. In the case of non-cash payment, the Buyer's obligation to pay the purchase price is fulfilled when the relevant amount is credited to the Seller's account.

4.5. The Seller is entitled, in particular in the event that the Buyer fails to subsequently confirm the order (Article 3.5), to require payment of the full purchase price before the goods are shipped to the Buyer.

4.6. Any discounts on the price of the goods provided by the Seller to the Buyer cannot be combined.

4.7. If it is customary in commercial relations or if it is stipulated by generally binding legal regulations, the Seller shall issue a tax document - an invoice to the Buyer in respect of payments made under the Purchase Contract. The seller is not a payer of value added tax. The Seller shall issue the tax document - invoice to the Buyer after payment of the price of the goods and send it in electronic form to the Buyer's electronic address.

5. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE PURCHASE CONTRACT

5.1. The Buyer acknowledges that according to the provisions of § 53 paragraph 8 of Act No. 40/1964 Coll., Civil Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Civil Code"), it is not possible, inter alia, to withdraw from a purchase contract for the supply of goods adapted to the wishes of the buyer, as well as goods that are subject to rapid deterioration, wear and tear or obsolescence, from a purchase contract for the supply of audio and video recordings and computer programs if the consumer has damaged their original packaging, and from a purchase contract for the supply of newspapers, periodicals and magazines.

5.2. Unless the case referred to in Article 5.1 or any other case where the purchase contract cannot be withdrawn from, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the goods in accordance with the provisions of Section 53 (7) of the Civil Code. 5.3. In the event of withdrawal from the contract according to Article 5.2 of the Terms and Conditions, the purchase contract is cancelled from the beginning. The goods must be returned to the Seller within 7 working days of the withdrawal being sent to the Seller. In the event that the Buyer breaches the obligation under the previous sentence, the Seller is entitled to a contractual penalty of 50 CZK (in words: fifty Czech crowns) for each day of delay, however, up to a maximum of the purchase price of the goods. This provision does not affect the right to compensation for any damage resulting from the breach of the obligation to which the contractual penalty applies, even if the damage exceeds the contractual penalty. The goods must be returned to the seller undamaged and unworn and, if possible, in their original packaging.

5.4. Within ten (10) days of the return of goods by the Buyer pursuant to Article 5.3 of the Terms and Conditions, the Seller is entitled to conduct an examination of the returned goods, in particular to determine whether the returned goods are damaged, worn out or partially consumed.

5.5. The Seller is also entitled to return the purchase price in cash upon return of the goods by the Buyer.

5.6. The Buyer acknowledges that if the goods returned by the Buyer are damaged, worn out or partially consumed, the Seller shall be entitled to compensation for the damage incurred by the Buyer. The Seller is entitled to unilaterally set off the claim for payment of the damage against the Buyer's claim for reimbursement of the purchase price. Similarly, the Seller is entitled to unilaterally offset the claim for contractual penalty pursuant to Article 5.3 of the Terms and Conditions against the Buyer's claim for reimbursement of the purchase price.

Conformity with the contract of sale means that the sold item has the quality and performance required by the contract, described by the seller, the manufacturer or his representative or expected on the basis of their advertising, or the quality and performance usual for the item, that it conforms to the requirements of legal regulations, is in the appropriate quantity, measure or weight and corresponds to the purpose for which the seller states the item is used or for which the item is usually used.

7.3. In the event that the item is not in conformity with the Purchase Contract upon acceptance by the Buyer (hereinafter referred to as "non-conformity with the Purchase Contract"), the Buyer shall have the right to have the Seller restore the item to the condition corresponding to the Purchase Contract free of charge and without undue delay, either by replacing the item or by repairing it, as requested by the Buyer; if such procedure is not possible, the Buyer may demand a reasonable discount from the price of the item or withdraw from the Contract. This does not apply if the buyer knew of the non-conformity with the purchase contract before taking delivery of the item or caused the non-conformity with the purchase contract. A conflict with the contract of sale which becomes apparent within six (6) months of the date of acceptance of the goods shall be deemed to have existed at the time of acceptance, unless this is contradicted by the nature of the goods or the contrary is proven.

7.4. Unless the goods are perishable or used, the seller is liable for defects that manifest themselves as a breach of the purchase contract after the acceptance of the goods within the warranty period (warranty).

7.5. The Buyer's rights arising from the Seller's liability for defects, including the Seller's warranty liability, shall be exercised by the Buyer at the Seller's place of business.
